I'd go for the Gaming 5 just because of the M.2 slot, it may be missing the mSATA port but imo the M.2 is more important. 

Though just go on what you think would be better, mSATA or M.2. I'm not sure there is anything that's different between he two, they are fairly exactly the same lol.

Just curious, what's the advantage of the m.2 slot if it's relatively the same as sata 3 (6gbps)? I ask because I have an m.2 slot, and I've been debating whether or not to get an m.2 ssd or another sata 3 ssd.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

I really have no idea about performance, I just like how you can have your SSD on the motherboard instead of having a 3.5' drive with the SATA power and data connectors leading to it.

Ahh that's what I was thinking, especially since I want to get a new case when the enthoo mini XL comes out. Less cables to manage.
