A single EX360 from XSPC would be able to cool a GPU and a CPU just fine, correct? I think it should, i'm just not sure, as it is slimmer than most rads.

And resevoir size doesn't really matter, right? If so, why, if not, why not.

And last but not least, this fan;

probably wouldn't be good for mounting on a radiator, or would it?

1) which gpu and cpu are u talking about?

i would consider that too thin for cpu and gpu.

2) it doesnt really matter, just aesthetics

3) thats a airflow fan. u need radiator optimized fans.

4790k and (theoretically) an 880, think of a 780 ti for now.

1) yes, but if you want to get even lower temps, more rad surface area = lower temps and more OCing

2) all it does is take longer to warm up the larger it is. It does not dissipate any heat.

3) no, it is very loud for the little CFM it does. Also the static pressure is not listed but from the shape of the blades I can tell it is definitely not good.

What are you talking about, i thought you just emptied the resevoir all over the GPU to cool it?

Ok, thanks for answering my questions :)

I figured as much about the fan, i guess i'll only use it if i'm desperate for space

You didn't include a block and called yourself a noob so I just threw it out there.

If you do end up using those fans, Please ensure you get shorter screws from somehwere, so you don't put a hole in your radiator!!

An H440. It's got support for a 360mm rad in front, but the space is kinda tight so i wanted it to be slim as possible.

I know, i saw where you were coming from. I work in retail, i've seen some mighty...how should i say...strange specimens, so i can't blame you for making sure :)

Haha, yea there are some special screws for them available on frozencpu. I probably won't be using them though, as they're fairly mediocre apparently

if this is your  case, i suggest 2 slim rads, 1 on top and 1 on the front

I feel like two 360mm radiators might be a little bit too much... :P

better to have too much then too little

Up until the 2 thick 480 radiators the general rule still stands. More rad surface area = more cooling performance and/or the lower rpm you can run your fans.

The H440 can easily fit a thick rad in the front. You just can't have a thick 360 in the front and one in the top at the same time.
