thanks you for enlightening me.. i'm such a noob at this forum stuff xD 

 

And thanks a lot that's a big compliment! 

yeah the g4's can turn into such sexy beasts ^^ i love the way you open the side panel :) it would make a nice LAN machine. 

 

No worries, i'm more of a noob than you are.  :P  I'm happy to be keeping up to date with such a nice rig.

 

The only problem is that the handles look like they wouldn't be able to withstand too much before breaking.

haha well we gotta learn but i really wanted to share my build because i'm so excited about it myself i almsot can't handle it :D that means a lot m8 :) ! 

that's true but the g5 and such aren't that protable and it would be a sin to paint the aluminum..

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

update time :) ! 

so my new psu arrived and also my EK full cover mobo block for the asus impact motherboard! EK is so good at this.. the build quality is just insane i love it !

and then the psu! which is an Corsair AX850 80 plus gold power supply. it's really nice. the reason i chose an older ax series which is ''only'' gold certified is both because i got it pretty cheap and also because a lot of awesome workstation builds i've seen has been with this power supply! 
it even has the ''zero dB'' feature where the fan only spins when the psu is under a bit of load :)

that's it for now :) this build is gonna take ages if i keep being unlucky.. motherboard RMA is still going and the student economy isn't great so i can't just go out and buy all the fittings and radiators i need :( 
I hope you will stick with me tho and thanks to all that give the log a look and i hope you are going to return and feel free to comment something you disliked, liked or suggestions! it's all welcome!

I must admit i haven't updated in a while...

This is both because i have been lazy but also because i haven't got a whole lot of money.

Anyway the system is now up and running! 
Right now it is just running with a h100i cpu cooler and it is a supwer awesome computer already.
I did change some stuff in the build. diffrent rads, a gtx 770 rather than my 7970 which i now have sold.
I've got my hands on a d5 pump which is super cool. i shorten the cables for it and put some black sleeving on there. 
also i planned out the pedestal and all the watercooling going in there. i made a google sketch up model for it so i could have a template. I'm gonna mod a hole into the bottom where the pump will be mounted under the res. 

Here is some pictures of it and i will try to post more frequently from now on.
