Cheap web browsing PC

Speedbird

Hi.

I'm building a mITX web browsing PC for my grandparents. What do you think of this? The budget is 400 euros, and this one is just 398. I won't accept any CPUs under 2GHz or hard drives under 1 TB.

I built an A8 machine for my Dad earlier this year as I was unsure about AM1. My Dad's XP machine only had 2GB of RAM and an 80 GB HDD, so anything over that is a huge difference.

I would spend less on the case and more on the CPU personally. The Elite 120 and Pentium G3220 would work better in this case.

Main Rig: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X | RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) KLEVV CRAS XR RGB DDR4-3600 | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX | Storage: 512GB SKHynix PC401, 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus, 2x Micron 1100 256GB SATA SSDs | GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra 10GB | Cooling: ThermalTake Floe 280mm w/ be quiet! Pure Wings 3 | Case: Sliger SM580 (Black) | PSU: Lian Li SP 850W

Server: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3100 | RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) Crucial DDR4 Pro | Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS AC-HES | Storage: 128GB Samsung PM961, 4TB Seagate IronWolf | GPU: AMD FirePro WX 3100 | Cooling: EK-AIO Elite 360 D-RGB | Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow (White) | PSU: Seasonic Focus GM-850

Miscellaneous: Dell Optiplex 7060 Micro (i5-8500T/16GB/512GB), Lenovo ThinkCentre M715q Tiny (R5 2400GE/16GB/256GB), Dell Optiplex 7040 SFF (i5-6400/8GB/128GB)

For a 2GHz AM1 CPU (my bare minimum) you have to pay 51 euros, while the Celeron G1820 is only about 30.

Chromebooks are not sold in my country, shipping would be expensive, they don't have a Google account, and you can't set up a 3G USB modem in Chrome OS (that's how they access the internet).

I wouldn't want a Biostar board anywhere near my system.

If it's for your grandparents and it's for web browsing why does it need 1tb?

Because it's cheap. There's no point in getting 320GB when 1TB is only 10 euros more. Also it's my bare minium for mechanical hard drives on desktops.
