Test benches work only without cpu cooler bracket.

hey

So my motherboard is a B85M-G (matx) and my processor is a g3258. Ive done many test benches, and come to the conclusion that it only boots when the cpu cooler bracket is not screwed in. My cpu cooler is a hyper 212 evo. Im not sure whats wrong. If anyone could help me with this issue it'd be highly appreciated. Thanks

If theres some sort of washer that needs to go in during installation and you're missing it, it could be that without it you are shorting the mobo.
