Is this CPU cooler better than the Intel Stock cooler?

RavMark

Is the DeepCool Alta7 a better CPU cooler than the Intel stock cooler? I have an i5 4670, so overclocking is not something to be concerned about.

Reckon it's worth the payment? :>

Thanks guys :D

It won't be much better, if at all. I recommend saving up a bit more to get a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO if you have sufficient space in your case. The general rule of thumb is that bigger = better with air coolers (Although this isn't always the case) this one is about the same size as the stock Intel cooler, so you can expect it to perform similarly.

My PC:

4670k      GTX 760 ACX      CoolerMaster Hyper 412s      Fractal Design Node 804      G1 Sniper M5      Corsair RM 650      WD Red 1TB     Samsung 840 Evo 120GB

It's a very similar design, I doubt that it will be much better. Go for a simple tower CPU cooler, that'll maybe cost you 5 bucks more but it should perform way better.

It won't be, it's smaller (looks like) and based on the same structure.

Hyper 212 Evo for you if you want cheap, better cooling.

I didn't think they even made coolers as bad as stock Intel coolers
