Always always always build your own when the price is ramped up. The only prebuilts you cannot defeat are the $300 ones due to the cheap windows they have.

But based on those specs and not looking at the price, which do you think is better?

Both horrible tbh.

The iBP one: Processor is better, but you can't overclock it (Meh)
GPU is too weak compared to CPU

                     No SSD
I can't find which brands they use so can't comment on that.

Digital Storm:

Weaker CPU, can't be overclocked either

GPU is same as above

"Extreme cooling" standard CPU cooler ^-^

No SSD either

You're being ripped off. Seriously consider building a pc your own, it's not that hard if you look things up. You'd be surprised how fun it is. And you will be able to use that pc for longer, before it becomes outdate and weak. You might even safe some money on it.

It is said, that civilised man seeks out good and intelligent company, so that through learned discourse he may rise above the savage and closer to God. Personally, however, I like to start the day with a total dickhead to remind me I'm best!

If he doesn't want to build on his own, it's fine. We need some people to buy from the PC building companies too, or else they'll be bankrupt.

I actually prefer Digital Storm. You can check their YouTube, all their PC's are built with high quality. iBuyPower and CyberPower always have mistakes in their build, things like bad cable management, or a missing screw.

You can customize another DS desktop though. What's your budget? I can do it for you.

No real budget. I just want to compare two computers and I would like the opinions of people with better knowledge than me to judge which build is better.

I'm not actually buying I just want to rate which is better and to see what is the reason.

IMO I thought newegg one is better because of the CPU is better. Am I wrong?

I built this one. It's $1645, not exactly sure about your budget. https://www.digitalstormonline.com/configurator.asp?id=1030425

It has a 4790K and Z97 mobo. (There is no 4790 non-K), and the same GPU as the Vanquish, so you can render videos with the i7, and have great gaming performance.

The first link doesn't work. I would be able to compare it if I saw the actual item page.

Found it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227505&cm_re=ibuypower-_-83-227-505-_-Product

iBuyPower is a better deal although I would get the Digital Storm because of their amazing quality and warranty. The iBuyPower you mentioned doesn't look good to me.  :P

Thanks but I think everyone is not understanding my question.

I'm not buying any of the prebuilt computers. I'm just wondering based on specs and whatever else the company has put in makes the build better than the other.

You didn't tell me you intention, so I went a built one for you. Disregard that post. Digital Storm costs more for their quality. That's how simple it is. The cheaper it is, the crappier they are.

Sorry about that man.

So iBuyPower one is stronger but Digital Storm one is better build quality?

And I do think Digital Storm looks far better than iBuyPower one.

I can't speak for the competition but I can say that we only use quality parts in our builds. No chinese knock-off PSU's that burn out like the cheaper pre-builds.

We stick with Corsair, EVGA and Silverstone for our PSUs.

That is exactly what I mean. If you look the the iBuyPower pictures, you'll see a generic 500W PSU. I can seriously bet that it'll fail in a couple of years. Look at the cable management with that horrible case. Check out Digital Storm's YouTube channel, you can see their PC builds, they are very high quality and just look at that cable management.

So in terms of reliability and longevity Digital Storm is better?
