I find these cards pretty useless

@gilang01 Well what is currently known about the R9 285? personally I heard about it however I haven't a clue about the specs.

Isn't the gpu architecture supposed to be tonga?

It will be weaker than the 280X, more of something in between the 270X and 280. Apparently it will have better power consumption.

If I could afford it, why not, but since I can't I don't see a point in these kind of stuff in the market

Wouldn't it make more sense if 285 were between the 280X and 290? Like 260X<265<270

Lol yeah I agree. 2GBs of VRAM on the 285 tho, while the 280X has a whopping 3GBs. I've hit 2.4GBs VRAM usage in Arma 3, so it's not like it's an unecessary amount by any means.
