  1. I'm a big fan of RTS games (I few up playing Q&Q, supreme commander, the lot), especially massive ones with tons of units and micro management. I bought Ashes of the Singularity a few months back and have been enjoying immensely ever since. I want to expand my rts library, and I need your help with game recs.
  2. beautiful.... shame I already have an R70x
  3. the idea of loading textures to the GPU is actually kinda neat.
  4. It's true tho. The next Gears of War is UWP, and it supports DX12 only right of the bat
  5. I'm just going to throw it here: Some might view Ashes of the Singularity as more of a benchmark than a game, but honestly, I find AOTS to be very entertaining (big RTS fan hehe)
  6. My 480 is @1350/2200, and that's on the stock cooler. So yeah 1.33 is shit.
  7. Overvolt the thing with der8auer's overvolting tool and voilaaaa. 1400s
  8. the 1060 and 480 are neck in neck once they're both overclocked. technically, the 480 has better scaling and more headroom (relative to it's performance per clock). the 1060 maxes out at 2200 (with volt mods) and the 480 can get to 1425 if you slap a decent aircooler on it.
  9. ASUS never made great AMD cards. The nitro, devil, and Gaming X is where it's at
  10. I'm disappointed it still uses the same old reference cooler. Not good enough
  11. All I know is, the RX 480 scales better with OC than the 1060. a 480 @1350 is faster than a 1060 @2025 in firestrike.
  12. I can guarantee that they'll be cheaper than the 1060s in South East Asia. Distributors tend to price gouge Nvidia cards more
