Compact IEMs Under $100?

Go to solution Solved by EmoRarity,

UM Pro10 for more betterness.
SE215 for $100.
MC2 for $70

So my Klipsch X10 is starting to develop a tear where the earphones and cable meet up... I'm thinking of buying another IEM when these completely crap out on me.

I'd like for them to be compact, balanced sound, wide sound stage, over ear (is that what it's called?) or regular cable position doesn't matter, angled connector, and great noise isolation. <-- That's a must since I will go to the gym with these. First time poster in the audiofeels subforum (I think?) so don't flame at me... Will be buying at Amazon or maybe at a local BestBuy so I can get it in the same day.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

I have the Shure SE215's and they are over-ear IEM's (meaning they have the cable going up and around the ear instead of just hanging). The sound is almost completely balanced - a little bass heavy - and the sound stage is typical of in-ears. It's not over-ear headphones wide, but it's fine.

They come with foam ear tips for good isolation and a better seal, removable and replaceable cable and an angled end connector.

Hm... I might buy the SE215s or the UM Pro10 depending on how much money I have at the time... Those two look really nice. I will definitely like the noise isolation of those. Thanks!

I like my Shures and all, but the cable is ass. (Durable, but ass)

And the UM is just a better headphone.

Why/how is the cable bad? I'll take that into consideration...

Tangles, maintains its shape to well. If you live in a colder environment it will freeze into a given shape, the cable can be very noisy, and the ear piece is really annoying to fit. (The cables ear piece not the IEM.)

Luckily the cable is replaceable, sadly, there are no good cheap replacements.

True. Forgot to mention the cable issue :P

I put up with it though. It just takes a couple seconds to untangle, but with the way the IEM end is shaped to go around your ear the damn things hook on to the cable. #firstworldproblems

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll probably buy the SE215s, but if I have more money, who knows... I might buy the UM Pro10 or maybe something completely different.

EDIT: Lol, wtf Amazon. 3dd0210340.png
