Nvidia Game Stream Bandwidth Requirements

Hey guys,

              I looked around a bit and couldn't find anywhere which said the recommended bandwidth for nvidia game stream over lan. I was just wondering if any of you guys know what it is and if mine would be ok for it (7mbits down 0.4mbits up). Also I am interested in if it makes a difference with the host PC being over ethernet or wifi.

streaming over lan has nothing to do with you internet speed

 

im streaming games over a crappy N router ( using steam game streaming) with no issues

I tried streaming a game over steam and it really didn't work at all. Both PCs were over wifi and one only had 2 bars. The router is a 2.4ghz one. Are these the issues rather than internet speed then?

u need to have good connection

2 bars wont cut it

 

and yes it has absolutely nothing to do with your internet connection

ur streaming ur game from your other PC  - an internet connection will not be used
