yes the APU is the problem

 

what mobo you have?

 

suggest dropping a Athlon 760K

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Well I could get Athlon 760k and a hyper 212 evo 

that still would be one hell of a bottle neck get a 8320

still a pretty bad bottle neck but not as bad as what you were thinking

I think I'll just save up for i5 and water cooler, for now I'll just live with what I have

Don't bother with low end water cooling. It's not as good as air coolers for same/less money.
