I currently own the Turtle Beach X12s, and I want to upgrade. What are some good headsets around $100 with great mic quality?

HyperX Cloud are actually made by a proper audio company (Takstar) which is why they are a popular suggestion. Much better quality than what the usual gaming headsets have. You really won't get anything better for the price.

I have the Corsair Vengeance 1500V2 and it's a great headset with a great mic!

No, but I imagine it won't be any better or worse than any headset mic.
