Will the 250D window melt?

OC3D mentioned how a Asus DirectCU 2 290X made the acrylic very warm to the touch, that lead to people saying it would melt the acrylic, which then lead us here.

I'm going to be putting an ASUS DirectCU2 GTX 770 in there and I heard people saying it will melt the window. I'm not sure if it's acrylic or not but acrylic's melting point is 160 degrees Celsius. I don't want it to warp in any way. Stuck between the 250D and the Prodigy.

No. It won't hit 160 C. It probably wont hit 100 C.

 

Who did you hear say that it would melt the window?
