Hi guys,

I just ordered an MSI r9 290. According to their website, it weighs just over 1kg. I've heard big cards tend to flex a lot.

What can I do to minimize or pervent flexing of my graphics card?

Yo'll be fine. The MSI ones do have internal structure plates to prevent them from sagging a lot, and they aren't that long.

Seriously though, flexing is NOT an issue as long as the card is properly screwed in to the case and the pcie slot has a lock-in feature (most motherboards have one and yours does too).

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Plenty of things can also be put between the bottom of your case and the plastic shroud.

Pen/Pencil/Toilet Roll, anything that can hold it up.

If your after the clean look.... you'll figure it out.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
