jscho

Very nice. Our builds are quite similar. I have the R4, delidded 3770k and a GTX670 with a Sabertooth, dominator platinum and 2x Samsung 840's, white LED strip as well. Brilliant minds work alike! :)

Awesome surround set up jealous of that mate.

Thank you! :D Much appreciated ^_^

And the black and white/chrome colour scheme looks amazing  I can't wait.

In other news!

I've ordered:

2 Corsair SP120s for push/pull on the rad

2 Corsair AF140s for the top exhaust

2 Phobya 30cm White LED Strips

Some Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound

and some Arctic Silver ArctiClean stuff.

Due tomorrow (October 18th)

This means the delidding of my 3570k is only a stone's throw away! I will be posting temp and OC results.

I get fairly high but stable temps at the moment with my 4.2Ghz OC as it is and the delid and fans should make

and impact :D

That's subjective haha. In my opinion, black and white looks better than black and red because it's kinda been done a lot. Though it's purely up to you what you like more.

Ok, thinking about an Arc Midi R2 now.

And yeah, red and black isn't original anymore imo

What volts are you at with a 4.2ghz OC?

Stock voltage, 1.17V I think. I haven't touched it. Though CPU-Z is telling me 1.15V. I dunno :P

The fan on front of the rad isn't actually screwed on, it's just sitting there, held in place by the 8 pin CPU cable ^_^

The LEDS look lovely

@JelleDekkers - Not that great of a photo, but it's the best I could do.

one word for this build......

Sweet....

Thanks!

Those LEDs and Corsair fans make this build 10x better.

Thank you!  ^_^ I couldn't agree more. I'm glad I chose the Corsairs over anything else at this point, I installed

them and was all like >>  :o << They look stunning, and the LEDs are super bright and light up everything,

even though the window is a dark smoked acrylic.

Next on the list:

Delidding - Going down to my local hardware store to get some screws for that ghetto fan "that don't need no screws" ;)

Getting a thin razor blade (To delid), a soldering iron and some wiring tools for the cable sleeving I want to do next! :D

First time sleeving so it should be an adventure.
