I am preparing to do a new system, and I need to buy a new Windows license for this build.

After looking on Amazon for a copy of Windows 7 (I much prefer it over Windows 8), I found a 32-bit copy that costs about $85 (here), and for a 64-bit version, it costs about $100 (here).

I have another copy of Windows 7 Home Premium that has both 64-bit and 32-bit disks, so could I use the key that comes with the 32-bit only copy (above) with the 64-bit disk that I already have?

I know that it won't work unless they are the same version, but doesn't that just mean Home Premium vs Professional?

Thanks for your help.

should work fine, Windows 7 home premium is the license.  64Bit is just the architecture so, but its still the same product.

JUST make sure if its an OEM key, that you only use 32bit or 64bit.  OEM copies are designed for only one disk I think, so if you have windows 7 OEM 32bit, its only able to be on a 32bit version.
