taking mobo+cpu on a plane?

Go to solution Solved by Freaky_spider,

shouldnt be a problem, just make sure your mobo is in the original box and put some clotches around it to prevent damage from turbulence

Hi, I was wondering if it is safe to take a Z97-A + Intel Core i5 4690K onto a plane with the cpu inside the socket?

Thanks...

no because all the laptops and phones you see on planes aswell as the computers controlling the plane breaks during flight :)

very funny.

be serious, is it safe if I put the mobo back inside the original packaging and I wrap the box around in clothes?

i was :/ i gave you examples of every other electronic thing working just fine, which kinda means that that yes your mobo will be fine aslong as you arent putting out in the open to be scratched by something with things shaking

ok, that won't be a problem because it will be back inside the mobo box.
