Cable Router

Hi guys.

I am living in Australia and have cable internet.

I am looking for a router and router that support cable. I want it to have a decent range and dual band wifi.

I am currently using a Netgear CG 3000 V2.

there arnt many

few "cable" routers exist

 

just buy an access point (check out ubiquti)

So I buy one and plug it in to my router and it gives better range?

Have you considered just using you current modem/router as just a modem and plug it into a good router. That is what I do with mine for cable internet.
