3 random things broke today

3 thing broke today in my apartment. 1. the elevator, 2. the satellite system 3. DSL internet.

 

I'm pretty sure none of these will be fixed before Monday and by then I'll be out of town so I can only speculate as to what happened. So come and speculate with me. What do you think is the problem that the satellite and the internet don't work yet the phone line is perfectly functional? I would have expected that too to fail considering it's the same line as the phone line.

 

Oh before I forget, most likely the reason for all this is there was a thunderous storm going on. Maybe lighting recked shit up? Who knows I wasn't home.

dont expect to get your DSL fixed in few days besides than that i had fix on satellite tv (digiturk i assume?) in few hours also thanks to floods in istanbul and ankara if you live there you might expect more DSL issues.

apartment. so i would guess it's a house elevator not just his apartment.

No, it's the regular satellite for the whole building. I don't care about it much though since I don't watch TV at all.
