NOOB DVI Question

Im purchasing a new monitor that's 1080p

http://www.microcenter.com/product/408370/e2252Swdn_22_LED_Monitor

It supports DVI which means it should work with my Asus r9 280 non x problem is it says it does not come with a DVI cable so would this cable work from rosewill? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812119012 I'm not good at this cable stuff and I'm building my first PC so basically you would connect that cable from graphics card to monitor right?

One last question what's the difference between a Single and Dual Link DVI-D both would work right?

One last question what's the difference between a Single and Dual Link DVI-D both would work right?

Dual link has more bandwidth I think. But at 1080p 60hz it shouldn't make a difference.

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.
