Another day another problem on BF4.. Now i am lagging for no visible reason, My FPS is 80+ my CPU usage is 80% and my ping is below 30 and still the game feels choppy and stutters.. I asked in game if anybody else was having the same problem and i got the response "get a better PC skrub" so i think its just me. Anybody know a possible fix?

Is your monitors refresh rate only 60hz? Is your FPS dropping when it stutters? Is your ram being maxed out?

It was fine yesterday.. My monitor refresh rate is 75hz and has been for months.. And my ram is not being maxed out. My FPS is constant

Turn on V Sync

It has only started doing it today if that was the problem it would have been doing it a lot more often, and my fps being 5 or 10 higher than my monitors refresh rate shouldn't make it lag like it does.. I will try it though.

Dont forget new graphics drivers/game patches can change how the game runs at any time!

And 5-10fps above or below refresh rate can cause tearing and stuttering, V Sync does introduce extra input lag so worth bearing in mind but frankly I prefer the smoother appearance

It either fixed itself or repairing the game fixed it.. Thanks

Happy to hear, often repairing the files works
