Cpu header lol

Im trying to do some cable management and im struggeling to remove the cpu header.. I dont want to apply to much force and hava a piece of the mobo in my hand

Im pressing down the thing like in the pci -e cable but it doesnt come loose

What am i doing wrong

You just have to wrench them, don't worry the connector is strong.

Yea,i wiggled it a bit and i came out connected and pc works fine ,just wanted to make sure

Man.... CPU header.... I was coming hear assuming you mean CPU FAN header. Not 8pin power connector.
