Hello.

Now when i got some money over, i'm looking for some new components to my computer. I don't know it these parts

are out-dated or not. Can you recommend any updates?

I wanna be able to play the most modern games on ULTRA. (BF3, BF4 and Watch Dogs for example)

- GeForce GTX 660 TI (MSI) [info link]
- INTEL Core i5 2500 K. [info link]
- Corsair CX 500 W. [info link]
- MSI Global Z77A-G43  [info link]
- 8 GB RAM (2x4)

I haven't gotten any help anywhere else, so i hope to get some help here! :)

You CANNOT run all games on ultra smoothly with the items you selected and with $1000 you might need to go down to high

This however (Assuming your budget actually is $1000) If you could stretch your budget by 100 you can run everything on high at least.

Okay. How much higher do i need to go to get a ULTRA computer then? :)

You can count on another 500-600 for a second graphics card and stronger PSU but that brings microstutter along.

My advice: Don't desire ultra. High also looks pretty damn good (Or ultra with only 2x Anti aliasing/8x anisotropic filtering as opposed to 8x AA/16x AF)

I'd got for a 760/770 or a 270x/280x if you can pull some more cash: 290 :) Maybe a 650W psu just to be "futureproof"?

i5 4690k

The cheapest 8GB 1600Mhz RAM you can find

The cheapest Z97 motherboard you can find

Hyper 212 Evo

Crucial MX100 for the cheapest price you can find

The cheapest R9 290 you can find

NZXT Source 210

The cheapest EVGA PSU you can find that is at least 600W

You can find a cheap operating system on G2A for like $20.

From what you said above, this is all under $1000 USD. In fact if you want more power go for a 290x or a 4790k.

This is just because he said $1000 dollar budget. It's about the amount.

Then my build will work just fine for you. Make sure to get the Sapphire Tri-x R9 290, it's by miles the best (also taking price into account)
