do gtx gpu work with amd cpu?

hi im quit new to this with building cumputers. and i am gona build my first rig soon. so i want to go with a "asus geforce gtx 780ti¨ and a amd fx-8350. will this work? becous i have heard form some where that amd cpu is stuck with radeon gpu´s and i relly whatn this 780 ti.

yus, if you are getting a new computer the 8350 is a waste of money either save money and get a 8320 or spend a couple extra dollars and get a i5, but if you already have the CPU it will be fine

I'd suggest going with a 780 instead of a 780ti and getting an i5 such as the 4690k. (or 4690 if you dont want to overclock)

4690k is the i5. The 4790k is the i7.

Buying a FX8350 with a 780 Ti is just plain retarded. You buy a not so good CPU for gaming with a very high end/enthusiast GPU...

 

I don't want to crap on FX proc, they are good for multi-threaded softwares but for gaming they just suck compared to intels.
