The market is saturated as fuck at this point, I wouldn't bother.

youtube does have it's own editing software so don't bother on new tools & you might want to invest on a good a$$ microphone or

You need to do something unique. There are millions of people trying to do the same thing and all failing. Don't expect much.

well the main thing to ask youself is, are you funny? like really funny, and confident. 

 

because unless you are really funny and confident you won't succeed. 

 

Other than that, be unique, don't copy other youtubers, don't act stupid and childish, have a good mic, upload in 1080p and don't have a 30second intro.

You need a niche, something that makes you stand out.

 

For every genre, there is realistically only a handful of channels that are good at it.
