Hello, I have a amd system that has recently been causing me to pull my hair out...

Just some specs first:

-Windows 7 home

-AMD Phenom 1045t, Running at (regular clock) 2.7ghz

-MSI 970A-G46

-16GB DDR3 Memory running at 1333(stock settings)

-500GB Hitachi Deskstar, ( It tests good, BTW)

-Nvidia GTX 480, With aftermarked liquid cooler, (AIO Cooler from arctic)

-1000w psu

So here are my problems...

1: I can be doing anything, anything at all, and it will bluescreen, with the error being memory related, (memory tests good) or something about a process delay not recieved (dont remember exactly, Will update when it happens again)

2: Ocasionally it will not post, and give me a memory/ VGA error. I can however make it post by pressing reset, and then it works fine.

3: Java crashes repeatedly, on youtube videos, minecraft, any java game, without leaving me any idea of what happened, the windows will just close. I have tried different versions of java, uninstalling and re-installing, all that, but nothing works. I do believe that this is related to whatever is causing my bluescreens.

If anyone has any ideas on what I need to do, please let me know.

Thanks

-Alex

Sounds like a GPU problem. The mem issue may not be your ram, but your GPU vram.

Try to test different driver versions. What are you currently using?

This actually sounds like a possible problem...

I bought the 480 used, and put the aftermarket cooler on it, I will check the heatsinks on the memory, maybe one fell off....

I used to have problems with BF3 running like crap randomly, but a different driver would fix it for a day or so, but it would eventually get worse. I completely forgot about that..

I will check my videocard and post some updates!
