[Finished]Obsidian 350D Shroud

I'm a cheapskate, so I decided instead of buying a new PSU that would fit my case (currently: TX750m), I would try and make a shroud out of plexiglass/acrylic!

It's still Work in Progress, currently I'm painting it, so expect the final update soon.

First I made a mock-up out of some thin wood/cartbox I still had lying around don't mind the holes, they were in the wood:

Gotta love duct tape:

Let's see how she fits:

Time to make the real thing:

That's it for now. I test-fitted the whole thing, but forgot to take a picture. I'm going to paint it (currently working on it) and report back to you guys with the final result.

Haven't decided if I want to install lights:

The lighting isn't perfect, because I used my phone to make a backlight.

Personally don't like the text, lettering job is a little messy and I don't like how it's angled, especially on a 350D, but it's your build so whatever you like, put in.

The shroud by itself looks great though, great fit.

Yeah I'm not superhappy with it as well. Painting and masking was my first time, gonna redo it after everything of my build is done. Next time I'm gonna do straight-text and try do some better masking. Thought part for me was that I had to mask off the text on the front and had to line up all the letters in the correct order (with a bend). But it was a great learning experience!

Looks pretty cool! Right now I don't know if I should keep my 350d or if I should change it for the Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV when it releases. The 350d is such an awesome case, but Phanteks is just kicking ass with their cases and the EVOLV looks beautiful.

That is a cool looking case indeed. Like the cleaner look of the 350D for myself.
