It may be mechanical but those aren't cherry switches. Get a cheap $10 keyboard from logitech until you can afford a real mechanical keyboard because everything lower is pretty much all the same.

The cheapest Keyboard most people including I would recommend is the Monoprice keyboard. It's only $50 right now, which is impressive compared to the regular $100 price tag that Cherry MX keyboards tend to carry.
