searching for a gaming monitor

Naeem

Hi.

im planning on building my own PC for gaming but i have little to none knowledge of monitors.

i was originally going for a Acer LED Monitor K242HLAbid 24"
but its 60hz but the 100mil color contrast is nice tough.

i was hoping you guys had some suggestions for a 23/24 inch monitor 1920x1080  with the price range of 150 euro / 200 USD if its a little over i wont mind but dont come with like 300 USD Monitors.

Would it be better to sacrifice some color for  120 Hz? or even 144 Hz.
or wouldnt you dont really notice it anyway?

im also planning on hooking a 2nd crappy monitor aswell just for browsing etc.

and wich connection would be best then?

leave you're suggestions please :)

if you buy something like the BenQ XL2420T or Z now i guess, you get some pretty good/ok colors and a 144Hz panel :) but it costs there after

Quality TN panels actually have pretty nice colours. Of course they do not offer IPS panel colours but the 144/120Hz refresh rate is a much more important factor for gaming imo.

You can't go wrong with BenQ or Asus 144/120Hz monitors.
