Should I Water cool?

So I am looking a getting a 240mm water cooling close loop system and was wondering if it was worth it or not?

What are the benefits? Do the benefits out out-weigh the cost?

I'm afraid to swear now because the overlords might hurt me.

If you're overclocking, the benefits do sometimes out-weigh the cost.

Are you doing a GPU, a CPU, or both?

Are you talking about a sealed kit or a custom loop?

For closed loops, yeah they're worth it in my opinion. You can get tower coolers that will perform around the same for similar prices, but they're extremely ugly in my opinion.

Totally worth it for me. I have an Corsair H60 with 2x ultra kaze attached. This allows me to push some volts to allow my 2500k to reach 4.8ghz stable. It's been like that since the 2500k was new.

Long story short: my 2500k OCed runs nearly as fast an 4670 at stock speeds according to synthetic benchmarks. I do not ever exceeed 70c, my average under load being 56-64c according to my longtime running AI suite

It's definitely worth it, have a look at the Tundra TD02 and Seidon 240M.

A good air-cooler will have your back too with less moving parts and noise. NH-D15, U14S, Cryorig R1, Dark Rock Pro 3.
