"other" profile on lockscreen (windows 8)

okay... so i just got an SSD and did a fresh install and changed some settings.... and now when I boot up my computer... this happens

 

this is what comes up without me clicking ANYTHING on startup

if I click okay this is what comes up

I then have to click the back arrow and I get to this screen
 
 
then I have to click my user account to get to the screen where it SHOULD be on the initial start up

If its already a fresh install. I would just re-install Probably a way of fixing it but it's just easier to re-install.

So I just format my SSD and HDD and re- run windows off of my flash drive?

just goto the charm on the right hand side and click settings

when I click it...it says insert media, some files are missing, your windows recovery will provide these files

Make sure you are on win 8.1 not 8 as a lot of stuff doesn't get updated for win 8(AMD drivers and others).

Also that 'others' screen is something you get on corporate or school networks where there are hundreds of possible users and the system is configured for remote roaming users.

I'm not really sure why it does this it is supposed to just work. My computer does this too. If you put your thumb drive in it should continue. I have the disc so it wasn't a problem for me. If the thumb drive doesn't work download an retail iso that matches your version of windows, then burn it to a disc.
