with 90$ not much to upgrade posably a sound card? or dubble the ram but 8gb is a fair amount for general use/gaming

Depends on what you are doing with the system, $90 isn't much but you might be able to upgrade to an APU (not sure on the socket or price) but I'd stick with what you already have

i'm fine with the built in audio :p aswell as 8gb, when playing games i hardly push past 4gb

the 965 isnot a bad cpu i got a 955 but mines on an am2+ board with ddr2 wich makes it slow but decent still

Updated CPU? and APU isn't just the graphics

personaly save up for a fx 6300 (nice cpu) or if you have the cash get a 8350

ya all i know is get a good mb not another biostar, there boards are really kinda crap. imo get a good brand, like msi or asus.

yea :/ this was my first build and the biostar was pretty cheap with descent reviews so i went for it, i kinda regret it but it still running :D

well 1) over spent on a 990FX board for a 965BE

2) bought a biostar 

 

all things considered save your money

It's the new Piledriver and they are supposed to be a huge improvement over Bulldozer, considering the price they seem pretty good

If you want a new CPU I bet you could find a Phenom X6 for less than $90

nice sucks its a 125w though i know my backup rig with my 6300 only suports 95w hence why it didnt get a 8350 although i was running a athalon x2 6400= (125W) but didnt run proper the 6350 is proboly just a lower quality bin of the 8350 2 cores disabled proboly could enable them

these days there isn't much that goes into the motherboard, most things sits on the cpu... with that said why did you regret that board? it doesn't seem bad at all. in fact i would go as far as saying, keep that board and get the  six core (6350 or maybe the piledriver update due later this year)  and oc it.  

(1) high frame rate (2) ultra graphics settings (3) cheap...>> choose only two<<...

 

if it's never been done then i'm probably tryna do it. (((((((Bass so low it HERTZ)))))))
