recommend me a laptop

kiril.zh

I'll be a student this fall and I need a really cheap laptop <$400 that will be good for programming. In this price tag the majority of laptops is with Celeron or Pentium inside and I have no idea how they compare against other CPUs. I'll be glad if you could recommend me some that you know are competitive at this price.

Pony up an extra 100-200 dollars and get a Lenovo if you want a decent notebook. Whatever you do, avoid Acer and the usual cheap crowd like the plague.
