4770K doesn't OC like a beast with the amount of bad chips + IHS cooling, and the 9590, depending on your chip, may have the ability to overclock.

But it's all just chance really.

Single Core performance: Intel

Gaming performance: Intel

Price to Performance: AMD

however AMD has the issue of not have all the fancy features intel mobos have, so that's a valid consideration to be made.

If you do not need hyper threading, the 4690K is the best. If you need it, the 4790K is best.

Yes but not by much because it already is factory overclocked and you run into thermal limitations because of its extremely high TDP.

I have a 4770, and it's been working fine for me. That said, I wouldn't recommend it.

I said can't really, didn't say can't. The OC would be very miniscule since it already kicks out so much heat and has such a high TDP.

4770k are known to not overclock well which is why they made devils canyon...And you can OC a 9590 it's just difficult
