Hello this is my gaming build i have been working on for around two weeks. I am not sure if i want to wait for the geforce gtx 700 cards or not but please tell if i should or not. My price is around 1100 dollars and i love First Person Shooters. I sometimes play strategy but mostly fps. My old rig is getting dated and cant run far cry 3 on max sadly. I would like to get a high quality but price effect computer and need your help to do that. I hope you like my build and feel free to tell me to wait for something or not. Thank you all and don't feel shy to tell me whats wrong with my build. I know 16gb ram is overkill but i run alot of servers and just would like 16gb. Feel free to tell me different types or nice but cheaper parts like Ram, Storage and more. The main thing i am not sure about is my mother board and my graphics card. Mostly graphics card i have no idea if this one is good or not and if i should wait till the new geforce cards. Thanks!

Ya i don't think that the 700 will be good enough difference for the price just like the 7950 vs 7970 and how they are so close to each other and not worth the 80-100 dollar difference for 5% better i want this to be great but not over the top or extreme.

Ya i don't plan on overclocking because i think the 3770 i7 will be enough for a long time and the 3770k is not worth the extra cash and you think i don't need geforce 670 or 680 or maybe wait for the 700 series?

If your not overclocking you might as well just get a H77 mobo instead of a Z77 mobo but it doesn't matter really.

This: http://gyazo.com/53215c81fde33ae24c7a4eb596abb843 All parts from Newegg.

Stick the parts in a case^^^

Get a 660 ti because the cuda cores help rendering. With my 560 ti, from software to hardware rendering alone I go from 40 seconds down to 6 seconds and that's not even compared to the rendering of the cpu. Despite adobe not supporting newer gtx cards in hardware rendering, here's the fix: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/14186-how-to-get-nvidia-cuda-support-in-adobe-creative-suite-6-for-gtx-gpus/

27" monitors are nice and 23"'s are hard to compare. If you're only using one screen, you might as well get a 27".

Since you're doing editing and your budget it rather high(I like to dabble in budget builds), 16gigs of ram is appropriate. 8gigs is 'enough for gaming' but once you get near to using up your ram, things get ugly. 16gigs ensures you can pile all the applications and processes you want. It should also help with rendering and browsers.

I went with the Noctua NH-D14 as it is one if not my favorite cooler. It is not much weaker in cooling than the h100i but is cheaper. It's a bit less of a hassle as you can slap it in the case and be done with it. It's also very quiet to boot and is arguably the king of air coolers.
