Survey protected downloads/links/pages

I've always wondered are these downloads/links/pages real or not? I remember a couple of months ago where I attempted to actually finish a survey/offer and it turns out that it did not work, either that or they found my information false. I read online most people say it's just a scam to get you to put in your info and whatever but some people say it actually works. Is there any real way to get through this stuff?

Pay for whatever you wanted to pirate or somethin if someone uploads their shit to something other than sendspace or mediafire Don't trust it

Protip: If a download is protected by a survey, abandon ship. It's a scam. Shrek is a green ogre and nothing can hide this, same goes for obvious scams.

Scam for sure. On some occasions you can find the actual dl link buried in the page's code, managed to find it on some poorly designed scam site of that sort which turned out to be a .rar stuffed with a ridiculously large .txt full of gibberish.
