Posted July 29, 2014 Hi guys I was wondering if anyone has tried this combination or something like this? I was in the market for a new headset as my default astros arent that appealing to me anymore and I know Sennheiser are a good brand but I was wondering if a sennheiser headset with a mixamp will be even better than just the sennheisers alone? Posted July 29, 2014 No real reason to get the MIx amp, no real reason to get the headset either, you can get the same thing for less.
Posted July 29, 2014 MixAmp doesn't really help for anything, surround can be had in most games with the built in option, and the Sennheiser G4ME ZER0 is just a fancier-looking version of the Sennheiser PC350. Posted July 29, 2014 I think the others got this handled but a good alternative would be DT990s with a modmic. Are you playing on console or no? If yes, which ones? If no, then ignore the mixamp. Do you need the mic in-built? Are you easily frustrated by clutter? If you can answer these questions, we'll all have a better idea on what you'll really be wanting. There are a number of cheaper options than buying shiny new G4ME Zeroes and a Mixamp, but it'll be easier to suggest if you could answer us some questions on how you're going to use it. Posted July 30, 2014 or mmx 300 if he doesn´t want an extra cabel mmx 300 is overpriced for what it is. If he doesn't want an extra cable the Kingston hyperX should be his choice. I have my mixamp on my ps4 and I wanna be able to swap between my pc and console. And I do need a mic build in, Clutter for me is not an issue I can usually manage cables well.
