Posted July 29, 2014 What reservoir should I get? I have an Phanteks Enthoo Pro so I have more than enough room for a good size one but this is my first custom loop and I have no idea on what to get. The pump I'm going to be using is the Phobya DC12-220. Please help I really want to overclock this week. MY BUDGET IS $35.
 Posted July 29, 2014 Take a look http://www.swiftech.com/reservoirs.aspx Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. Posted July 29, 2014 i'm personally a fan of bay reservoirs although that might be because there's virtually no space in my case or a res anywhere else but none the less this one https://www.dazmode.com/store/product/rp-452x2_rev_2_0_dual_5_25_reservoir_f_1_or_2_d5_pumps/
 Choose one you like, and look around for it on amazon, ncix, newegg, something like that. Choose the retailer with the lowest price and buy it. It's that easy. Dont buy from them directly, costed me at least 3 months of pain. Posted July 30, 2014 It is a small place run by 2 guys. Email steve@frozenqpcmods.com instead of calling. They have a 10% discount code going on now, so I am thinking of getting 1-2 myself. Posted July 30, 2014 If you are going budget, be careful of acrylic reservoirs. They have a chance of leaking if their temperatures exceed 60C

They have a chance of leaking if their temperatures exceed 60C coolant temperatures of 60°, but that kinda goes for all delrin and plastical parts. Posted July 30, 2014 is there a non acyrilic resoivoir lol. coolant temps at60c is a little hard to achieve dont you think.
Posted July 30, 2014 also as airdeano said that goes for all plastics including.the plastics in your pump most of them say no more than 50c water temp at 50c 60c you have bigger problems than your resovoir. Posted July 30, 2014 ya zero glass tube plastic caps lol I think you entirely missed the idea of my question. but that is a neat rez thanks for showing me that. maybe I should have worded it better. is there a resovoir that can withstand 60c or more coolant temps. Im sure there is one that is glass and metal but at 60c thr glue will melt lol.
Posted July 30, 2014 What glue though? Most reservoir parts are screwed on or use compression caps. But as mentioned earlier, if the coolants hits 60 ºC or more then the reservoir isn't the thing to be most worried about- pumps are. Posted July 30, 2014 Looking at the pics of the photon and the lack of the removal says that it is glued to me. Also most bay reservoirs are glued together you cant pressure seal a box. That is xspc first tube and there known for gluing there other reservoirs I'm sure that one is no different. I'm Not talking about any particular rez but lots are glued however it was meant to be more of a sarcasm joke like. At the end of the day loops are not designed to have water 60c or more ran in them period so the fact the acrylic reservoirs have issues is really non relevant. As your pumps will die your tubes will loosen and pop off (on compression's maybe not with clamps) again your tubes can heat up and kink I mean the amount of bad stuff that can happen at 60c water temp is just endless. However I have never ever seen anyone have 60c water temps in a working loop.
Posted July 30, 2014 I have a question about Photon. If you put mayhems pastel in the photon will the light even be visible. Will the coolent light up or not? I have been wondering for some time now
Posted July 30, 2014 Not really, pastel is pretty opaque and the single LED that comes with the Photon barely lights up the reservoir as is.
