Normal Voltages?

Hello.

I noticed that CPUID HWMonitor shows me that the CPU VCORE is about 2.9 volts. I am running an Intel Core i3 550. The temps are normal (about 460C idle).

Thanks in advance.

If it were really 2.9 Volts you would not be posting this from that pc. 2.9 instantly kills a CPU lol. Something is wrong with the voltage sensor.

Does your board have voltage meter inputs?

Well my guess is you don't intend to overclock so whatever a sensory program shows you you can safely ignore it. The stock voltages are of course perfectly safe and on normal levels (that is to say no 2.9 but more in the region of 1.2). The sensor that picks up the CPU voltage is simply broken and under no normal circumstances should that effect anything.
