So last night i set my ram to 2133Mhz and my CPU has been running at 4.4Ghz for a few months now and i wanted to see if my RAM was stable and so far Prime95 hasn't crashed or given me an error.

My current memory settings are: 13/13/13/32 @ 1.7v

My current CPU settings are: 100.00x44 @ 1.350v (in bois) and according to CPU-Z its 1.260v

So basically is Prime95 good for testing RAM stability? Also how is my RAM OC looking so far?

EDIT: I'm still running Prime95 blend I think and its been going for a little over 12 hours.

Explain?

Aida64 uses MUCH more heavier tasks (AVX,AVX2 if i am right) to stress test CPU and since RAM is CPU's playground RAM also gets heavier workload compared to Prime95

AIDA64 is no heavier after the latest revisions of Prime95. It's also a benchmark/stress test you have to pay a decent amount for.

IBT is free and uses same method. and im pretty sure i get 10c higher temps with IBT.

That's a specific function of using the least optimal program paths for intense context switching. It's worse than the worst case scenario and it can force CPU voltage far above where it would ever normally run. Prime95 in manual voltage control mode is equally as good for stability checking. IBT is for twits who have no knowledge of what it actually does. It's a gimmick. I'm sorry to be a jerk but I despise incompetence, especially when used to offer advice to those who actually want the truth.

OK then dont use it I DONT CARE ,I render stuff in 3dmax and it takes 40+ hours and if my overclock is stable with prime95 and IETT its not stable with 3dmax rendering ,it crashes all the time only way to validate if my renders going to crash or not to see if my overclock is stable with intel burn test.

I'd advice to test your ram with the cpu at stock then get your overclock out and do prime again

Why i plan to have both overclocked 24/7 so if they are both stable when overclocked isn't that better?

Holy crap, 1.7V on your RAM?!!? That's kind of high IMO.

According to your CPU-Z validation...PC-10700...is that some odd variant of DDR3-1333MHz? (since standard 1333MHz if PC-10600).

13-13-13-32 and 1.7V for 2133MHz...pretty damn high latencies and voltages. Probably best to lower the overclock down to 1866MHz or 1600MHz.

In other note, your CPU overclock seems pretty good, though.

I'd use AIDA64 instead of Prime95 to test your overclocks. Just like Prime95, AIDA64 can also test the stability of your RAM.

I usually don't recommend the use of Prime95 on 3rd and 4th generation Intel CPU's.

My RAM OC is very quick and dirty right now but I'm trying to slowly lower everything especially my RAM. But as for the ram voltage 1.7 is perfectly run JEDEC specs DDR3 ram to operate up to 1.9v before permanent damage occurs so 1.7 isn't going to hurt it but I will be lowering it also my RAM frequency is currently running at 2133Mhz so that might have something to do with the odd numbers showing up in the validation.

Also AIDA64 is murdering my system and I love it so far.
