So I just built my first PC, i wont bore you with the specs but it has MSI A78M-E35 Motherboard, and for some reason I can't connect it to the internet. I plugged in a Ethernet cable and that works but unfortunately that cant be a permanent solution. I got all of the drivers for the motherboard and GPU. and the PC doesn't even recognize any Wireless Internets. My dad said its something about a "WIFI" card im not sure what that is. Can someone please help me?

go to device manager find the unknown device, right click on it and select "update driver software". If you select search online there is a good chance you can get working drivers although they may not be the newest they will work.

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

So do I need a WIFI card and can i get one from AMAZON?

Yes you can get a wifi card from amazon. Asus makes good ones from what I've heard.

No. Just use a different computer to download the ethernet driver from MSI's website.

He said ethernet is not a permanent solution in the OP.

This motherboard is not a board with build in Wifi stuff so yeah you need to get yourself a separate Wifi card that goes into a PCI slot or a PCIe x1 slot. Get drivers for the card you bought then you can connect to wireless.

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/rosewill-wireless-network-card-n900pce This one is pretty good and has all you need unless you desparately need 802.11ac.

Yeah, you need a WiFi card as has been said but seeing as you know this, and it will solve the no wireless issue, make sure to mark this thread as solved please.
