Hdd problem help

Go to solution Solved by Benjio,

I believe that is your disc activity. I'm assuming your RAM goes to 100% usage and your computer starts using the page file on your hard drive (which would explain why the game goes so slow). So, if I'm correct, either get out of any programs you don't need while gaming or add more RAM to your system.

hi guys, first thing first, thanks for the help in my last post it really helped, well i need your help once more.

i have a 1tb seagate barracuda hdd, and the thing is that when im gaming it goes crazy and i can move anymore in the game, this is a problem in games like dota and smite, this takes almost like a minute or two to go back to normal, so i think that this might be because of my ram being only 4gb but idk, i really need your help now, so here is a pic of the thing, where im pointing gets to 100% when im gaming, so idk what to do

Check your ram useage with task manager, if it is during gaming close to maximum it is possible the 4gb isn't enough and it starts swapping with the hdd, that means a piece of your hdd gets used as ram, a sort of solution to memory overflow.

Try razer game booster, maybe it can free some ram so swapping isn't needed. (never tried it personally)

Well, anything of the same speed, voltage, and CAS latency will work. I suggest just buying a new kit and replacing that kit. Depends on your budget though.
