Jump to content

Sounds like your clock speed is too high for the amount of power you're feeding it. Try upping the voltage a little bit and see if that alleviates your problems. If not, back down on your clock speed a little bit, you might not have won the silicon lottery.

so i have a amd 8320 and i got a h80i for it and im able to overclock it to 4.5 ghz but when ever i do video footage is Skippy and jumps with out sound help plz thanks and i was not sure what category to put this into so sorry if in wrong one

How are u testing your overclocks to find out if they are stable? What motherboard are you using? What voltage are you at for 4.5ghz?
You can't be serious.  Hyperthreading is a market joke?

Video footage as video editing?

It could be

  • Overclock on your FX-8320 is unstable or,
  • You don't have enough system RAM or.
  • Your HDD is too slow if you are reading / writing a large video file(s) simultaneously.

I was doing a little bit of video editing on one of my secondary systems, and it was capping out on the RAM...even though I had 8GB installed. I put in another 8GB (that I had sitting around after an upgrade) and that cleared the issue...for my situation at least.

im runing the amd overdrive stress test i up my voltage to 1.4375, i got 8 gb ram ,the only time the video is jumpy is when its on the  hdd, but on youtube it runs fine
