So I was looking into doing a dual loop setup for my next build. From what I read it doesn't help your temps, but my thought is that I can keep my rig quieter by turning down the fan speed of a loop that is not running as much. Like my dual loops, it would be a cpu loop and a gpu loop? What is your guys opinion on this matter?

If you have everything connected to one large cooling loop and you're only running one part of your system, all of the heat output would be spread across all the radiators, which means you could run all the fans at a lower speed.. Single loop is generally both the simplest and the best thing to.

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

No that would not reduce noise. Dual loops are only for aesthetics.

If you use a single loop your temps will be lower since all the radiators cool the same set of components, and you can run the fans at lower rpm for less noise.

More fans at a lower rpm are quieter than less fans at a higher rpm. Unless you have $5000 to spend on a dual loop for aesthetics, just do one.
