Just asking is it ok to run my chip at these temps:

4770k @4.4ghz. Voltage VID 1.280v IA 1.309V

 

Tempatures @stresstest core around 70-80c max is 82c 
Cpu at 70-80c max @80c

Intel Extreme tuning utility.

Now i switched back to 4.3GHZ at 1.261V. Stable and no issuses at all. Temps are in core high 60 to low 70.

CPU never hits above 75c

 

How big of and difference there is in 0.1GHz?

nothing, i run mine at 4.3 as well cause it only require 1.19v to do so...for 4.4ghz i need upward of 1.27v so its not worth it to me...you should probably stick to 4.3 and lower voltage some more until you get blue screens, then raise it back 0.01v and leave it there, thats what i did and i was able to go as low as 1.19 and temps are very good (60c max while heavy gaming with a cheap air cooler..)
