On a CM 212 Evo?

I recently overclock my i7-4790k to 4.7 Ghz at 1.31 volts, and I was wondering, how good is that for a Devil's Canyon CPU?

I know that Haswell chips can't overclock very well, but I don't know just how bad it is.

Untrue, there's just a larger margin of bad overclockable chips than Ivy or Sandy.

4.7GHz seems like a nice overclock, what temperatures are you experiencing with that CPU?

you have a somewat bad chip i heard of some reaching 4.9 with only 1.28v...and those werent devils canyon they where normal haswell 4770k...its all about luck, mine can only do 4.5ghz even with more than 1.3v on the core :( i still like it cause in all honesty its plenty for what i do (mostly gaming) i actualy run it at 4.3ghz with only 1.19v
