Hey Guys! brand new to the Forums! Been Watching all of Linus's videos And decided I need to get rid of my Pre-Built Pc And really step into the world of Gaming/ PC Building And build my own custom Rig!

get a FX 6300 and with the extra like $80 get a R9 280 instead

My budget is really from 900-1k. mainly gaming is my use. Maybe some light graphic design.. no Hardcore Videoediting or anything.

it's not like they're hard (unless it's like $600), I was just being too conservative.  :rolleyes: I didn't even consider an Intel option, lol.

The only thing i dont really get is the CPU. When for a ton more money would i get the I5 And not get the 8350? Fantastic buils BTW. :)

i5's and up will always beat the fx series so id go with the i5

Thanks man! But from the extra 60$... im just not sure if its worth it for the couple FPS Difference. Thanks For the benchmarks Though!

No worries!

I'll put it this way. If you buy the AMD FX 8350 it's an old GPU (manufactured in 2012) whereas the 4690K was manufactured this year, so you're getting newer and faster technology not to mention a backup iGPU if your dedicated GPU dies. ;)
