New headphones required!

So my BOSE AE2's have died (the solder points are still there so it's an electrical failure)

I need some new headphones around $100 USD

My AE2s were ok for me, but they sound worse than my Apple EarPods :P

So I'm looking at the kraken pros now, but I want something that sounds good and is priced well.

I bought the Audio Technical ATH-M30x for 70 USD and they sound amazing. I also have the behrdyanamic custom one pros and ath m50 (non x) so I know what the higher end sounds like.

Edit: Get the m40x instead it has a removable cable better frequency response and fits perfectly in you're budget

Fedex Ground must be on Horse back, It took 7 days to go 200 miles

Used DT770 can be had at just above $100. The headfi classifieds have a few of those I think. 

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

LOL i just decided on getting the DT770, but my budget is around $170 (can go to ~$180) 

And i will get a FiiO E10K with it, because i might get the 250 ohm version. The 80 ohm version is $270 :P
