Depends on your rig..

What cards are you running SLI?

You'll struggle to find a PSU under 600W that has more than 1 PCI-e connector cos they dont really supply enough power for that. Personally i'd get a good 650W PSU and that'll give you everything you need. As long as you never go under 25% usage you'll be fine where power consumption and efficiency are concerned.

CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K @4.5GHz - CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i - Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus VI Hero - Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro Red 8GB (2x4GB) @1600 - Storage: WD Green 2TB, 128GB Corsair Force Series SSD - Graphics Card: Asus MATRIX R9 280x OC Case: Corsair Graphite 600T - Power Supply: Be Quiet Power Zone 650W - Monitor: 2x Acer S240HLbid - Keyboard: Corsair K70 (Cherry MX Red) - Mouse: Perixx MX-2000 - Audio: Logitech G430, Logitech Z506

25% load**

Basically if a PSU is rate say '80 plus Platinum' but you use less than 80% of its stable power output then you'll only get the efficency of 80 plus Bronze if you're lucky! Hence '80 plus ...'

for your build 650w is more than plenty for overclocking and future upgrades.

gtx 760

How many PCIE connectors do your 760's have? There are plenty of 600W units that have 2 8pin connectors, but you'll likely need a 650W+ unit if you need 4 connectors. Depends on the cards.

As for power consumption and efficiency:

760's use around 190W, the CPU has a TDP of 84W. You could run the system on 600W. I would prefer 650W.

The efficiency doesn't matter too much. The amount you save in your power bill by buying a more efficiency power supply won't be much even over the course of years, and the extra cost of a more efficient power supply will likely make the overall savings next to nothing. What matters more is getting a good quality power supply.

umad?

I don't like idiots who talk out their asses.
